Cinnamon, nutmeg and bergamot swing the gates open, a dessert table of dates, praline, tuberose and mahonil fills the great hall, and a resin-rich base of vanilla, tonka bean, amberwood, myrrh, benzoin and agarwood smoulders on for roughly 12–16 hours on skin.

How long does it last?
Around 12–16 hours on skin — this sits in the strongest tier of our range. Sillage is strong for the first 6–8 hours, so one application before an evening out is genuinely enough. Traces often survive a night's sleep, which is half the pleasure of a resinous oud oil.

Yes. Qasar Al Oudh is a pure perfume oil with zero alcohol content, blended and bottled in India, so it is suitable for halal wear and for use before prayers. The oil format also means nothing evaporates off harshly — what you smell in the first hour deepens rather than disappears.
Is this a good first oud?
It is one of the friendlier doors into oud.
