Every Flora Five attar is an inspired-by composition. We borrow the silhouette, not the formula. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or licensed by any donor brand we reference. What we offer is a tribute — the scent direction of a globally admired perfume, reinterpreted as a concentrated roll-on oil that performs in heat and humidity.
An attar is a concentrated perfume oil with a long tradition in India and the Arab world. It contains no ethanol. On skin, that means no sting on freshly-shaved jawlines, no evaporation in summer heat, and no stain on a crisp white shirt. An oil fragrance blooms slowly. It projects close. It is more intimate than a spray, and far more forgiving in Indian humidity.
For many of our customers, alcohol-free is not a preference — it is a requirement. Our range is halal, cruelty-free, and hand-blended in small batches.
Flora Five was founded and is run by Armaan Singh from Sirhind, Punjab. The brand began with a straightforward frustration: the world's finest olfactory signatures were either unavailable, unaffordable, or incompatible with the way people in India actually live — shaving in hot water before a wedding, walking through humidity in July, observing religious practice that rules out ethanol perfumes. Flora Five is the answer.
We start with the donor fragrance — the one our customer has described, or the one we have heard asked for a hundred times. We map the note pyramid: top, heart, base. We then compose an independent interpretation in oil form. We test it on skin, in humidity, at 11pm on a summer evening, until it opens right, settles right, and holds through the evening.
