Majmua attar is our Flora Five rendition of India's most beloved traditional blend — the name means “collection” in Urdu, and that is exactly what it is: fresh green leaves, citrus zest and a touch of cut grass gathered over a heart of vetiver, rose petals, jasmine, patchouli, saffron and Indian herbs, resting on warm amber, oakmoss and damp, earthy roots for roughly 8–10 hours on skin.

Majmua has always been an oil, never a spray — our version keeps that heritage: 100% alcohol-free, halal and gentle enough for everyday use. Dab it on the wrists and the nape of the neck; as your skin warms, the green opening deepens into that unmistakable rained-on-earth heart. Best kept off white cotton, which oils can tint.
Available as a roll-on in 3 ml, 6 ml and 12 ml. Free shipping across India · Cash on delivery · 7-day return.
Frequently asked questions
What does Majmua smell like?
Like the first rain on hot earth. It opens green and herbal with citrus zest and grass, then the classic majmua heart appears — vetiver (khus), rose, jasmine and Indian herbs — before drying to mossy amber and earthy roots. Cooling, calming and unmistakably Indian.
How long does it last?
About 8–10 hours on skin, wearing at a moderate volume for the first 4–6. Earthy-green materials like vetiver and oakmoss cling well, so a morning application usually sees you through evening prayers without a refresh.
Is it alcohol-free and halal?
Yes — and it always has been. Majmua is one of the oldest attar formulas in India, blended as a pure oil long before alcohol perfumery arrived here. Ours continues that tradition: no alcohol whatsoever, fully halal, suitable for masjid and daily wear.
Which size should I choose — 3, 6 or 12 ml?
If you have never worn a traditional Indian attar, the 3 ml is the honest starting point. Regular wearers will find the 6 ml lasts a surprisingly long time, and the 12 ml gives the best value for those who reach for it every monsoon and summer.
At Flora Five, all our attars are meticulously crafted to maintain their authenticity and purity. Each blend is 100% oil-based and free from alcohol, ensuring a rich, long-lasting scent experience.
To preserve the integrity of our attars and protect them from contamination or loss of their distinctive scent profiles, we incorporate essential, non-toxic regulatory substances like antioxidants. These carefully chosen components ensure the longevity and stability of your attar without compromising safety.
While no additional ingredients in our formulations are inherently harmful, we recommend patch testing before full use to rule out any potential allergies. At Flora Five, your safety and satisfaction are as important as the elegance of our fragrances.
