Kasturi attar is a Flora Five original — named for kasturi, the fabled musk of the Himalayan deer that perfumers chased for centuries. We recreate that legend without a single animal ingredient: nutmeg, saffron and bergamot spark the opening, warm musk and amber melt through a heart of vanilla, rose and black tea, and the drydown turns plush with sandalwood, patchouli and a softly animalic, resinous hum for roughly 6–8 hours on skin.

Warm skin, in the best sense. A spiced nutmeg-saffron opening gives way to a rich cushion of musk, amber and vanilla, threaded with rose, black tea and a beeswax softness. The base is sandalwood-deep with a faint animalic growl — achieved entirely with botanical and lab-crafted materials, never deer musk.

How long does it last?
Roughly 6–8 hours on skin. Musk-amber compositions cling exceptionally well in oil form; expect the spice to quiet down after the first hour and the musky-sandalwood core to hold steadily through the day, warming up again whenever your skin does.

Is it alcohol-free?
Yes — Kasturi is a 100% alcohol-free concentrated perfume oil, and it contains no animal-derived musk, so it is cruelty-free. That also means no stinging on freshly shaved skin and no sharp alcohol flash in the opening minutes.

Which size should I choose — 3, 6 or 12 ml?
Musks are personal — they read differently on every skin — so we suggest starting at 3 ml. Move to 6 ml once you know it suits you, and choose 12 ml if you want a signature evening scent for the colder months; one dab covers a full night out.

How to Apply

Flora Five attars are concentrated, alcohol-free perfume oils. A little goes a long way.

Hold the roll-on to clean, dry skin on pulse points — inner wrists, behind the ears, base of the neck.
Apply one or two gentle swipes. Do not rub — let the oil settle on the skin.
A single application typically lasts about 6–8 hours on skin.
For a stronger trail, reapply lightly after a few hours.
Store upright in a cool, dark place, away from direct sunlight and heat.
