There is no alcohol in this oil, which keeps it kind to sensitive skin. Warm a drop between your fingertips and press it onto your wrists, throat and behind the ears; your body heat will slowly coax the saffron out of the woods. Imagine saffron threads scattered over dark, gently smoky agarwood, with rose and jasmine softening the middle and a vanilla-sandalwood base rounding everything off. It reads as regal and wintry rather than barnyard-animalic — the smoke here comes from incense, not harshness.
How long does it last?
This is one of the longest-wearing oils we make: roughly 6–8 hours on skin, and traces linger longest on fabric. The saffron-citrus opening is loudest for the first two hours, after which the woods and vanilla carry it quietly but persistently through the day.
