Flora Five's Oud Wood attar is an alcohol-free, oil-based interpretation of the smooth, understated luxury of Tom Ford Oud Wood. Cardamom, Brazilian rosewood and Sichuan pepper give a cool, spiced lift before rare agarwood takes over, rounded by sandalwood and vetiver and resting on tonka bean, vanilla and amber — lasting roughly 12–16 hours on skin.

How it compares. Our attar captures the recognisable Oud Wood accord — that polished, almost creamy oud wrapped in soft spice and vanilla rather than smoke. Because it's a concentrated oil with no alcohol, the opening is softer (no spray "blast"), it develops more slowly, sits closer to the skin, and lasts noticeably longer than an alcohol spray.
Being 100% alcohol-free and halal, this is an oil you wear deliberately: roll a little onto your pulse points — wrists, neck, behind the ears — and let body heat coax the oud out over the next hour. Keep it off white fabric, as perfume oils can leave a mark.
Available as a roll-on in 3 ml, 6 ml and 12 ml. Free shipping across India · Cash on delivery · 7-day return.
Frequently asked questions
What does Oud Wood attar smell like?
Smooth, woody and quietly expensive. It opens with cardamom and a peppery rosewood chill, then settles into refined agarwood smoothed by sandalwood and vetiver. The drydown is gently sweet — tonka, vanilla and amber — so the oud reads polished and clean rather than barnyard-raw. It leans unisex and works as well in an office as it does at dinner.
How long does it last?
Expect roughly 12–16 hours on skin. As a concentrated oil it clings to warm pulse points and to fabric far longer than a spray; many customers still catch the amber-vanilla base the next morning. In humid Indian weather the projection stays strong for the first 6–8 hours before it becomes a closer skin scent.
How is Flora Five's version different from the original Tom Ford Oud Wood?
The original is an alcohol-based eau de parfum; ours is a concentrated perfume oil. We follow the same accord — spiced opening, creamy oud heart, sweet ambery base — but without alcohol the scent opens more gently, evolves more slowly and hugs the skin for longer. It is our independent interpretation, not a copy, at a fraction of the price.
Is this a good first oud?
Yes — arguably one of the best. Oud Wood's whole reputation rests on making agarwood approachable: no medicinal sharpness, no animalic funk, just smooth wood, soft spice and vanilla. If you have been curious about oud but wary of its intensity, this attar is a gentle, wearable introduction that still smells unmistakably oud.
