How it compares. Our attar captures the recognisable Bleu de Chanel accord — chilled citrus sliding into smoky incense and cedar. Because it's a concentrated oil with no alcohol, the opening is softer (no spray “blast”), it develops more slowly, sits closer to the skin, and lasts noticeably longer than an alcohol spray.
Because the base is oil rather than alcohol, it's halal, non-drying and comfortable straight after a shave. Apply to warm spots — the inner wrists, the dip of the collarbone, behind the ears — and give it ten minutes to open up; keep it clear of white fabric to avoid faint oil marks.
