Flora Five's take on Bin Sheikh
Bin Sheikh sits in the most traditional corner of Arabic attar perfumery — oudh at the centre, rose and saffron in the opening, amber and sandalwood in the drydown. Our Flora Five interpretation holds that traditional weight intact, hand-blended in Sirhind as an alcohol-free concentrated oil for wedding season and formal occasion wear.
We borrowed the silhouette, not the formula. This is an independent composition by Flora Five — not a replica, not a counterfeit, and not affiliated with Al Haramain Perfumes (traditional attar lineage).
How it wears
The attar opens with saffron and a supporting lift from rose, oudh. Because there is no ethanol, the opening reads quieter than the spray version — cleaner, closer to skin, without the initial alcohol sting. Within fifteen minutes the heart has settled in; amber carries the composition through the next hour. The drydown is where the oil format earns its keep: oudh, musk, amber, resin hold close to skin for hours, where the spray would have faded. One application blooms slowly and holds through the evening.

3 ml — roughly several weeks of daily pulse-point wear. 6 ml — a steady-rotation size. 12 ml — a signature-level commitment. All roll-on.
Why an attar?
An attar is a concentrated, alcohol-free perfume oil. No ethanol means no sting on freshly-shaved skin, no evaporation in Indian heat, and no stain on a white shirt collar. Oil fragrances bloom slowly on skin and project close — more intimate than a spray cloud, more forgiving in humidity, and noticeably longer-wearing than alcohol-based equivalents. Apply one drop to a pulse point — wrist, neck, behind the ear. Do not rub the wrists together; it crushes the top notes and speeds the drydown. Let the oil settle on skin for thirty seconds before dressing.
