Mukhallat Al Badr attar is a Flora Five original — al badr is Arabic for the full moon, and the blend is built like one: a bright, ceremonial rise of frankincense, saffron, rose and bergamot that slowly wanes into oud, warm spice and jasmine, then sets on a deep sandalwood-leather-clove base, holding on skin for roughly 6–8 hours.

There is no alcohol in this attar — it is a skin-friendly perfume oil from first drop to last. Apply it where blood runs close to the surface: the inside of the wrists, the throat, a touch behind each ear. Resin first: frankincense lit by bergamot and softened with rose and saffron, so the opening feels ceremonial rather than heavy. As it settles, oud, jasmine and warm spice give it body, and the final hours are all sandalwood, leather and clove — dark, dry and quietly smoky, like a majlis after the incense burner has gone out.

How long does it last?
Around 6–8 hours on skin. The frankincense top burns brightest for the first couple of hours, the oud-amber heart holds through a full workday, and the leather-sandalwood drydown is usually still detectable in the evening. On cuffs and collars it can linger into the next day, so apply to skin if you prefer a shorter arc.
