How it compares. Our attar captures the recognisable Black Vanilla accord — tart fruit and cool violet folded into a dense, almost boozy vanilla. Because it's a concentrated oil with no alcohol, the opening is softer (no spray “blast”), it develops more slowly, sits closer to the skin, and lasts noticeably longer than an alcohol spray.
With zero alcohol in the formula, this oil is halal and never dries the skin. Roll a thin line along each wrist and one behind the ears; as you warm up through the evening, the fruit recedes and the vanilla takes the lead. Best applied to skin rather than clothing — dark, rich oils and white fabric do not mix.

Expect 10–12 hours on skin, with a moderate-to-strong presence for the first 5–7. Vanilla and musk are famously tenacious in oil form — you will often still smell it on your wrist the next morning.
How is Flora Five's version different from the original Mancera Black Vanilla?
The original is a high-strength eau de parfum; ours is a pure perfume oil. Without alcohol, the fruity top is quieter and the vanilla arrives sooner, wearing closer to the body. Per wear it costs a small fraction of the Paris bottle while keeping the same character arc.
