Deer Musk attar is a Flora Five original — our homage to kasturi, the fabled deer musk that anchored classical Indian and Arabian perfumery, recreated here through ambrette (musk mallow), dark musk accords and a thread of Laos oud rather than anything animal-derived in spirit of the old maestros. Cardamom, rose and Madurai malli light the top; leather, labdanum and warm cinnamon smoulder in the heart; and the animalic-amber base murmurs on for roughly 12–16 hours on skin.
