Oud Patchouli is a Flora Five original — a study in dark earth. Patchouli is what perfumers reach for when they want depth without sugar, and here it meets agarwood head-on: bergamot and saffron strike the match at the top, rose keeps the heart from turning severe, and oud, amber and musk hold the ground beneath it for roughly 6–8 hours on skin.

This is an oil-based formulation with no alcohol whatsoever. Patchouli reads differently on every skin, so apply modestly at first — one swipe per wrist, one behind an ear — and let it warm for fifteen minutes before deciding your dose. Rich oils can tint pale fabric, so keep the rollerball on skin, not shirts.

What does Oud Patchouli smell like?
Wet earth after rain, dressed up for the evening. The bergamot-saffron opening is short and bright, then patchouli takes centre — herbaceous, camphor-edged, genuinely earthy — with rose smoothing its rougher corners. The oud beneath reads as polished dark wood, and amber keeps the whole thing warm instead of dank.

How long does it last?
Around 6–8 hours on skin. Patchouli and oud are two of the most persistent materials in perfumery, and together they wear exceptionally well. You will get strong projection through the first three or four hours, then a warm, earthy skin scent for the rest of its wear.

Is it alcohol-free?
Yes — a concentrated perfume oil with zero alcohol content, worn from a rollerball. That makes it suitable for anyone avoiding alcohol on skin, and it means the scent unfolds gradually instead of blasting off in the first ten minutes the way a spray would.

Which size should I choose — 3, 6 or 12 ml?
Patchouli is famously polarising, so we suggest the 3 ml unless you already know you love the note. If you wore the 3 ml down to the last drop, skip the middle step — the 12 ml is the better price per millilitre, and this blend does not tire easily as a signature.

How to Apply

Flora Five attars are concentrated, alcohol-free perfume oils. A little goes a long way.

Hold the roll-on to clean, dry skin on pulse points — inner wrists, behind the ears, base of the neck.
Apply one or two gentle swipes. Do not rub — let the oil settle on the skin.
A single application typically lasts about 6–8 hours on skin.
For a stronger trail, reapply lightly after a few hours.
Store upright in a cool, dark place, away from direct sunlight and heat.

Can I exchange or return my order?

Yes. If you are not happy with your fragrance, you can ask for an exchange or store credit within 7 days. A small logistics charge may apply. If your order arrives damaged, contact us straight away and we will send a replacement.
