Dior Bois d'Argent Inspired Attar

Flora Five's Dior Bois d'Argent inspired unisex attar is an alcohol-free, oil-based interpretation of the silvery, incense-laced character of Bois d'Argent from Christian Dior's La Collection Privée. Cool iris, cypress and juniper berries drift into smoky myrrh and patchouli, while honey, vanilla, resins and a whisper of leather warm the drydown across roughly 6–8 hours on skin.

Dior Bois d'Argent inspired attar: fragrance notes

• Top: Iris, Cypress, Juniper Berries
• Heart: Myrrh, Patchouli
• Base: Woodsy Notes, Honey, Vanilla, Amber, Resins, Leather, Musk

How it compares. Our attar captures the recognisable Bois d'Argent accord — cool silver iris wrapped in myrrh incense and sweetened with honey. Because it's a concentrated oil with no alcohol, the opening is softer (no spray "blast"), it develops more slowly, sits closer to the skin, and lasts noticeably longer than an alcohol spray.

Being alcohol-free, the oil is kind to sensitive skin. Glide the rollerball over your wrists, the sides of the neck and behind the ears, then leave it be — body heat lifts the incense and honey in slow waves. Keep it clear of white shirts and pale fabrics, which oils can mark.

Frequently asked questions

What does Dior Bois d'Argent smell like?
Silvery and meditative. Powdery iris meets church-incense myrrh, and just when it threatens to turn cold, honey and vanilla slide underneath and make it glow. It is genuinely unisex — elegant on a suit, intimate on bare skin — and reads expensive without shouting.

How long does it last?
Around 6–8 hours on skin. The iris-incense phase holds for the first three or four hours, after which the honeyed, resinous base hums along quietly for the rest of its wear. In air-conditioned settings it stays closer; in warm evening air it blooms.

How is Flora Five's version different from the original Bois d'Argent?
The original is an eau de parfum built to project from the first spray; ours is a concentrated oil. You lose the sharp alcohol lift-off and gain a smoother opening, a slower, longer drydown and a price that lets you wear it daily instead of saving it for occasions.

Which size should I choose — 3, 6 or 12 ml?
Take the 3 ml if you are testing whether iris and incense suit your skin — it still gives weeks of wear. The 6 ml suits a regular rotation, and the 12 ml is the value pick if you already know this silvery style is your signature.
