David Beckham Instinct Inspired Attar

Flora Five's David Beckham Instinct inspired attar for men is an alcohol-free, oil-based interpretation of the easy-going, dressing-room-confidence character of Instinct by David Beckham. Juicy bergamot, mandarin and orange kick things off, cardamom, pimento and star anise add a gentle spark, and Haitian vetiver with patchouli and white amber gives it a warm, dependable finish that carries for roughly 6–8 hours on skin.

David Beckham Instinct inspired attar: fragrance notes

• Top: Bergamot, Mandarin, Orange
• Heart: Cardamom, Pimento, Star Anise
• Base: Haitian Vetiver, Patchouli, White Amber

How it compares. Our attar captures the recognisable Instinct accord — sunny citrus warmed by anise-cardamom spice on a vetiver-amber bed. Because it's a concentrated oil with no alcohol, the opening is softer (no spray "blast"), it develops more slowly, sits closer to the skin, and lasts noticeably longer than an alcohol spray.

Made without a drop of alcohol, it stays gentle where sprays can sting. Dab the roller on wrists, either side of the neck and behind the ears; the spice heart blooms as you move through the day. Don't roll it over white shirting — oil concentrates can shade light fabric.

Frequently asked questions

What does David Beckham Instinct attar smell like?
Friendly and clean-cut: a citrus opening you could wear to a morning lecture, an aniseed-cardamom middle that adds character without turning loud, and a mellow vetiver-amber drydown. It is one of those crowd-pleasing masculines that works from college to first job to weekend dinner.

How long does it last?
Plan on 6–8 hours on skin from a single application. The citrus is liveliest in the first hour; the spice and vetiver do the heavy lifting from mid-morning to evening, and the amber lingers quietly at the end.

How is Flora Five's version different from the original Instinct?
The original launched as an alcohol-based eau de toilette; we recompose the profile as a concentrated perfume oil. That means no cloud of projection, a smoother opening and considerably better staying power per application. It is an independent interpretation — not the original juice, and none of its materials are used.

Which size should I choose — 3, 6 or 12 ml?
Try the 3 ml first if you never smelled the original — it covers a couple of weeks of daily wear. The 6 ml is the everyday sweet spot, and the 12 ml gives the lowest cost per ml for a scent this office-safe you'll reach for constantly.
